South Wales Police have the following opportunities to support placements where you can begin your career in a profession where no two days are the same. Our internship opportunities are over a period of 12 months during students’ year in industry / gap year (between years 2 and 3 of your studies). Our Postgraduate opportunities are over a period of 12 months during which time placement holders will play an integral role within their allocated department. The Public Service Access Programme is a dedicated entry route that allows participants to join South Wales Police for a 6-month paid placement, working on meaningful projects that contribute directly to our organisation and the communities we serve.
